end of winter term (spoiler alert: i survived)
FINALLLYYYYYYY at the end of the winter term! This term has been so incredibly rough, but I made it out! I've been cramming in a lot of work, but it's all been worth it (even though I had to drop two classes due to mental health reasons)

Aaaaahhhh Chelsey if you're reading this I love you! Chelsey Campbell is such an awesome and fun professor to have. They made this class such a blast and if it wasn't for this class, I wouldn't have this awesome website!

In my Professional Practice class, I had the opportunity to explore the professional side of being an artist. I learned about writing a proper artist bio and an artist statement (which you can find on my about page) and what the difference is as well.

We learned about how to apply for grants and exhbitions, and got a plethora of resources for opportunities for us. This class honestly gave me a lot more hope when it comes to being an artist! Learning about artist residencies was probably my favourite thing because they're literally opportunities for artists to travel or have a studio to make art (within the time given). And I can't wait to put my learned experiences from this class to work!
honestly just really grateful I made it through this term. time to rest for a bit ♡
